BlackBerry's all set to reveal 2 Mid-Range Smartphones
Some great news is coming for all the BlackBerry Fans. Earlier this year BlackBerry CEO John Chen revealed that the company will launch two new mid-range Android Smartphones in 2016, the Canadian Smartphone manufacturing company has launched its Android based flagship phone Blackberry “PRIV” last year.

In the recent interview Chen has given more clarity on the device launch. In the interview Chen revealed that more details about the two Smartphones will be unveiled soon in next month. Chen said he would reveal more details about the smartphones in July, without divulging any further details.

Chen made it very clear that BlackBerry will not launch any flagship device this year and these two phones will be the only launch for 2016.

In the recent leak abut the device, some of the images were available claimed as the upcoming device from BlackBerry. The images are said to show Android smartphones codenamed Hamburg and Rome.

The first two shots shared by 51BlackBerry website shows the BlackBerry Hamburg smartphone, which seems to sport a metallic build. Both the images shows the handset from the front. The first image additionally reveals the length and the width of the smartphone as 146x78mm. A BlackBerry logo is seen on top along with a speaker grille at the bottom spanning till the edges of both sides. There is a power button on the left and the volume buttons on the right side. There is no clarity on the fact whether the devices will have similar sliding facility like “Priv” or it will be simple bar phone, like others in market.

Speaking to Mobile Syrup, Chen said, "I'm not really prepared to unveil that. I guess, I was thinking about doing that more in July time frame. I have spoken about having two of them in between now and the end of this fiscal year, and usually both of them more in the mid-range and mid to high, not going to be a high end phone."

Recently BlackBerry announced its Q1 2016 results, and numbers don’t seem promising at all. As per the report, the sales numbers are on decline and losses have grown up. CEO is hopeful that the members of the company have the capability to change the numbers and make more profit from its device manufacturing unit.

We are also hopeful that company fortune changes with the launch of new devices. According to us BlackBerry has taken the step of opting Android as operating system was bit late. Recently Facebook and WhatsApp declared that they will stop support for Blackberry Devices.
