Latest iPhone 7 Leaks Suggest Changes Are Coming

iPhone 7
Bad news for all who are waiting for iPhone 7
When many of us is waiting for the release of new iPhone 7, but as per the new leaks it seems that wait might be disappointing. As per the two new reports, iPhone 7 might be a disappointment from Apple. As per the earlier reports that iPhone 7 might not have the big changes, the big changes will be shifted for next year (2017). Apple is expected to launch iPhone 8 next year (yes, not iPhone 7s).

The indications of small changes are reported on the two different reports from the Wall Street Journal and Mac Otakara. Recently some market researcher has reported about this earlier.

Warning from Wall Street Journal

As we all are aware, Apple has traditionally overhauled its flagship handset every other year - but that is set to change this year. As per the “Wall Street Journal” report “The biggest planned change in this year’s phone is the removal of the headphone plug, which will make the phone thinner and improve its water resistance, said people familiar with the matter. The Lightning connector will serve double-duty as a port for charging the phone and for connecting headphones, they said.”

This is something which is claimed in many leaks about the device. Instead of a headphone socket, users will connect headphones wirelessly or via the lightning socket used mainly for charging at the moment, it has been claimed.

Mac Otakara report suggests minor design change

“[The] iPhone 7 has its proximity sensor on the front changed to the dual specification in addition to the ambient light sensor on the side moving from the left side to the right with a slightly longer receiver.”

Adding to it website stated that iPhone 7 rear camera has become bigger while the iPhone 7 Plus rear camera shifts to a dual lens setup. The lack of any major design overhaul is a bad news, but the subtle tweaks also adds one further small irritant:

“iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus cases cannot be used while it’s also likely that front LCD protection films etc. cannot be used for the new model.”

If we believe on these reports, it is very much disappointing for all those who are waiting for the new flagship from Apple the iPhone 7.

Keeping the reports in mind, the people who all are expecting to upgrade to the device from iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s, device might have something to offer, but who are looking to upgrade from iPhone 6 or later will see only little change.

As per the recent reports, it seems that Apple is banging more on iPhone 8 in 2017 (which will be 10th anniversary for official iPhone launch).
