Another week of 2016 passed, with great news from the technology industry. Thinnest laptop of the world has been launched by HP named “Spectre”, Samsung is all set to launch its new device of Note Series “Samsung Galaxy Note 7” and much more.

Today in this tech update we will talk about the five most talked technology news for the week.

HP has launched the world’s thinnest laptop, named “Spectre”.  With a Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM and a decent 256GB SSD, the Spectre costs $1,249 in the US. A Core i5 version knocks the price down to $1,169. In the UK, configurations start at £1,149, and AU$2,299 in Australia. Whichever model you choose, just be ready to jump fully into the world of USB-C, the new multipurpose data, power and accessory connector. The Spectre has three USB-C ports along the back. All three can carry data or power, and the two center ones also act as Thunderbolt ports for high-speed data transfer.

IPhone 7 in 3 Models

Recent reports and leaks about the upcoming smartphone are in full force with almost every day some new information being revealed online, and to add on this latest one testifies to previous rumors of a 256GB storage variant and as we have suspected in our earlier report it’s possible third variant of the iPhone 7 this year. In the recent post we have highlighted the point that it is possible that the company might be looking forward for the third variant of the device, possibly named as iPhone 7 Pro.   


Note 7 Released Date and Name Confirmation

As per the new leaked invite from the Samsung, the company’s new flagship is all set to launch on 2nd August 2016. The invite shows a 7 and ties in with previous rumors that the company will this time around call their smartphone the Note 7 to tie in with the Galaxy 7 naming system. As per the today’s report (25th June) Evan Blass, it is confirmed that the device will be named as Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

YouTube went down this week

One of the rarest thing happened this week, Google’s biggest video sharing site YouTube went down this morning. This was the first instance from the day the website has been launched, that it went down. The down time was not much than the couple of minutes.

The YouTube links on the social media, i.e Facebook, Twitter, etc all were dead. This leads to a surprise as the incidence was first to the biggest video sharing site.


Phone with 8 GB RAM to be launched on 29th June
There were rumors about LeEco working on a device with 8GB of RAM. If reports floating online are to be believed than it may become a reality soon. The company has put out an official teaser about an event on 29 June. The company has confirmed that it will be revealing a new device at the Mobile World Congress, Shanghai.



It was great week from the point of technology and will have some great launches in the coming week. 8GB RAM phone is one of the biggest highlight of the coming week. We will keep you updated with all the news, till than bye to all.
