Asus Zenfone 3 Max & Zenfone 3 Laser Launched 
Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus has launched its Zenfone 3 series of smartphones at Computex 2016. The Taiwanese manufacturer has now added two new smartphones to the series with the launch of Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max in Vietnam.




Asus took the wraps off its Zenfone 3 series of smartphones at Computex earlier this year. The company has added two new smartphones to this series, called the Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max. As the names suggest, these are basically the successors to the Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Max respectively.


Both smartphones were unveiled at an event in Vietnam, Techrum reports, but at the time of filing this story, details are a bit scarce. There is also no word on when either of the smartphones will launch in other countries, including India.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max price

The Zenfone 3 Max is priced at 4,490,000 VND, which is approximately Rs 13,400. In comparison, the Zenfone Max is available in India in two variants — 2GB RAM variant for Rs 9,999 and 3GB RAM variant for Rs 12,999.

The smartphone features a 5.2-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved display, 4,100mAh battery that the company claims is good enough for up to 20 hours of talktime, up to 30 days on standby mode, reverse charging support, a metal body and a fingerprint scanner.


Asus introduced its new Zenfone 3 series earlier this year, by launching the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Zenfone 3 Ultra. Recently, it also launched a variant of the Zenfone 3 Ultra powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 chipset, and a 9.7-inch tablet called ZenPad 3S 10.
