Jet black iPhone 7 scratches easily warns Apple
Apple has finally launched the new flagship iPhone 7 in the market with some changed features and colors. To make the color lineup of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, Apple introduced two new colors, black and jet black. The latter has a shiny surface rather than matte. And while it looks gorgeous, it also scratches easily.

Limiting jet black color to only few people as jet black variants will only be available in 128 and 256 GB variants of the device.

All those who fall in love with the new device color jet black we have some bad news for you. The color is going to get scratches easily and it is recommended that you use that device with cover.

“The high-gloss finish of the jet black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodization and polishing process,” Apple explains in the small print of its site. “Its surface is equally as hard as other anodized Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use. If you are concerned about this, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone.”

Micro-abrasions is a fancy term for scratches. I’m certainly one of the folks who scratches up his phones, unfortunately because of this many buyer like me will be pushed to buy a different colour of iPhone if one is buying that.
