Samsung has launched its new tablet Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) with S Pen, the device is the upgraded version of the earlier version of Samsung Galaxy Tab A. currently the device has been launched in the market of South Korea, but with no question mark the device will be available soon globally (no official words from Samsung).




On the specification front, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S pen features a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution 10.1-inch display, it’s powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The tablet also features microSD card support and can be expanded till 256 GB. The device features an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) with S Pen runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 7300mAh non removable battery, which is cable of running for 14 hours. It measures 254.30 x 164.20 x 8.20 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 558.00 grams.




Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 4G. Sensors on the tablet include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The main feature of the device is the S Pen, this can be one of the reasons people will by this product.




As far as the pricing of the device is concern, the unlocked and off-contract model of the Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen is priced at 489,000 won ($440) in South Korea. Samsung is yet to confirm pricing and availability for other markets.

To conclude we would say, we feel that the tablet market is almost seturated and worldwide tablet shipments fell 12.3 percent to 38.7 million in the second quarter, according to the International Data Corp. We have to wait and watch how this device perform in the market when having a competition from player like iPad.
