iPhone is one of the greatest device presents to buy in the market and with great security and privacy features iPhone is way ahead when compared to Android, but there are some cool features which android users get, while iPhone users are still waiting for that.

Split Screen

If you are Android user, you must have used the Split Screen feature on your device. The feature was earlier given by some of the Smartphone OEM’s like Samsung is now a part of Android OS.
Both Android 7.0 Nougat and Apple iOS 10 offer the split-screen multitasking feature to users. However, the big difference is that in iOS, the split-screen view is available only on iPad and not iPhone. Android 7.0 Nougat brings this to both small and large-screen devices.

“Doze” to save Battery

Google’s Android OS also has another cool feature called Doze. First introduced in Android Marshmallow, it helps save battery life when the handset is in the idle state.

With Doze feature switched on, the smartphone loses just around 3% battery charge overnight. In Android 7.0 Nougat, Google claims to have further improved this feature. Although iOS in itself drains less battery, it lacks a similar feature.

Data saver

Just like Doze is for battery, 'Data Saver' is for internet data usage. This feature is very handy to all those who are not happy with their internet bill.

It allows users to take control of the apps that should get access to internet data while running in the background. iOS 10 misses out on this feature too.

Daydream VR

Apple is still struggling with the VR technology, while Google added some virtual reality touch to its Android OS by bringing Daydream VR in its Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Daydream is a virtual reality platform built in Android Nougat. A Daydream-certified Android smartphone, when clubbed with the new VR mode in Android Nougat, aims to enhance its VR performance inside headsets.

Create multiple profiles

Introduced in Android 5.0 Lollipop, this feature gives users the ability to create multiple profiles inside their handsets with separate storage drives, apps and more. Users can switch between profiles directly from the notification shade.

Quick switching between apps

If you are multi-tasker and switch often between apps then Android has another useful feature available in Android is the ability to quickly switch between two apps. All that you need to do is a double tap on the multi-window button and the last used app takes up the screen.

This speeds up the given task. But on iOS 10, you get a complete list of apps opened in the background on long-pressing the Home button.

Instant apps

With Instant Apps, Google wants to make it easier for users to discover apps in a quicker way.
Instant Apps is compatible with all Android devices running Jelly Bean or higher (4.1+) with Google Play services. Apple is still to introduce a similar concept in its OS.
