Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to launch on October 25. Reports suggest the Chinese technology company will host an event in China, where it will announce the successor of Mi Note smartphone. Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which was expected to launch in September earlier, is said to feature a dual-rear camera setup.




In the recent leak before the launch, device specification and price got leaked.





The recent leak about the new flagship from Xiaomi, reveled the specification of the device, the phone would likely sport a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of (1440x2560 pixels), backed with Force Touch Pressure sensitivity technology. Powering the phone would be a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 SoC, while the
back panel will hold up a dual camera setup with a 23 Mega pixel Sony IMX318 sensor and the other 12 Mega pixel Sony IMX378 sensor. For selfies, the front would likely bear an 8 Mega pixel camera.
Some more specs tipped about the handset include Android v6.0 Marhmallow backed with MIUI 8, dual SIM (Nano + Nano), 4100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded under the glass, 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz) MU-MIMO and USB Type-C connectivity. Other leak also suggests that it might come with iris scanner as well and might clad a metal-glass combo premium design body too.




Price of Xiaomi Note 2

According to a Phoneradar report, the phone will come in two variants based on display – one with dual curved screen and another with a flat screen. The flat screen variant will get a full HD resolution, while the dual curved display will feature a Quad-HD resolution. The report further claimed that the Mi Note 2 will cost 2,499 Yuan (approx Rs 25,000) for the 64GB variant, and 2,799 Yuan (approx Rs 28,000) for the 128GB variant.
