OnePlus 3 vs OnePlus 3T: What all has changed?
OnePlus has launched its new flagship device, second of the year OnePlus 3T. The device is the upgraded version of the previous flagship phone from the company, OnePlus 3. As per the reports, the company will close production of OnePlus 3 and will focus on OnePlus 3T in coming days. As far as the specifications of both the phones are concerned OnePlus 3T is slightly better than its predecessor.

In this article, we are going to checkout what all has changed in OnePlus 3T from OnePlus 3.

Battery Got Bigger

First thing in the list is the battery, as everything is dependent on the juice of the device. OnePlus has done a good Job by extending the battery capacity of the device OnePlus 3T is facilitated with a 13% bigger battery of 3400 mAh battery compared to the 3000 mAh battery of OnePlus 3.

The phone also supports dash charging. Dash Charge is faster, safer, cooler - and simply better than any other fast charging technology available today. Unlike other technologies, charging speed remains consistent even while gaming, live-streaming or demanding activities.

Better Processor

OnePlus 3T is going to come with Snapdragon 821 Chipset, which is faster than the Snapdragon 820 chipset which was installed in OnePlus 3.

As per Qualcomm, a manufacturer of snapdragon chipset, “The Snapdragon 821 is engineered to deliver a 10% performance increase over the 820 with the Qualcomm Kryo quad-core CPU, reaching speeds up to 2.4GHz. Why would you introduce something to replace what many consider the best mobile processor available today? Simple, we’re not. Rather than replace the Snapdragon 820, the 821 is designed to complement and extend the competitive strengths of our Snapdragon 800 lineup.

Two Storage Options

With OnePlus 3T company has given its users a storage option, while RAM remains same to 6GB, OnePlus 3T comes in two storage variants 64 GB and 128 GB inbuilt memory. While OnePlus 3 was only with 64 GB of inbuilt memory.

Front Camera got better

The front camera’s sensor is 16MP compared to the earlier 8MP front camera and OnePlus has gone with a Samsung 3P8SP sensor on this one instead of Sony IMX179 sensor.

While the rear camera on the OnePlus 3T remains the same of 16 MP with Sony IMX 298 Sensor, but it also has a Sapphire crystal lens cover. The rear camera has OIS and EIS-enabled, 4k video capturing at 30fps and ‘Slow Motion’ 720p video at 120fps.

On the design front, nothing has changed much and device look is identical to the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3T is slightly better on the specification when compared to OnePlus 3, but we feel OnePlus 3 is still best device to bang on in that price range, will give the exact review of the device once launched.
