OnePlus 3T Coming to India shortly says Company

OnePlus 3T has been launched a week back in a live Facebook event and started getting delivered in the USA from 22nd November 2016 and will start getting delivered from 26th in the UK. The biggest announcement about the India launch and its pricing is yet not clear.

But this news may bring cheer to your face if you are waiting for the OnePlus 3T to be launched in India. An earlier report suggested that OnePlus 3T will be launched in India Somewhere in December 2016 (exact Date note yet confirmed), which got confirmation from the General Manager (OnePlus India), Vikas Agarwal.

Mr. Agarwal on Tuesday took to the official OnePlus forum to announce that the OnePlus 3T will arrive in India shortly. He did not, however, mention a probable time frame and (or) pricing of the OnePlus 3T, for now.

In his post, Mr. Agarwal wrote "Getting the OnePlus 3T to India has been a top priority for us, and we are delighted to announce that we are all set to release the OnePlus 3T in India shortly! The next big question on everyone's mind would be the announcement of the launch date."

"I volunteer to put myself up to a round of 'Truth or Dare' where you, our fans, can choose to either 'ask me anything' or challenge me to an 'adventurous dare'. At the end of this round, I will announce the official date of the OnePlus 3T release in India," he added.

OnePlus India's 'Truth or Dare' poll is out now on Facebook. The company has urged "fans to determine how we should reveal the big date" and intends on making "history for being a community which truly owns its brand and not the other way around."

The OnePlus 3T, in a nutshell, is simply the OnePlus 3 with a faster processor and a bigger battery. The phone is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor (over the original's Snapdragon 820) coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It is backed by a 3,400 battery, as opposed to the original that came with a 3,000mAh battery. There is also a 16-megapixel camera upfront, this time round as opposed to the original that came with an 8-megapixel selfie-shooter.

OnePlus 3 remains to be one of the highest rated smartphones on Amazon India, where OnePlus exclusively sells its products. And while the launch of the upgrade may excite many folks in the country, a lot many will be left pissed knowing that their newly bought OnePlus 3 will now be rendered obsolete after the launch of the OnePlus 3T.
