This technology will take Samsung way ahead of Apple

Samsung, Apple
If the news we are bringing to you will become reality, then believe us it will change the way you see the smartphone today. The technology is being worked by Samsung and is expected to be in the market by 2017. And believe us this will take Samsung way ahead from Apple, which is considered as the most innovative company. Anyways Apple is way behind from Samsung when we see the curved display and wireless charging.

Samsung’s forthcoming flexible smartphone has been grabbing headlines from several months, but a new report from South Korea says the company has a “two-track strategy”, which will help the launch of foldable smartphones in the market. Instead of unveiling its final flexible display smartphone, ET News claims, Samsung will first introduce a “dual-screen” phone that will feature two separate flat displays on each side.

The dual-screen smartphone features two flat displays on each side and even though the panel doesn't bend itself, there is a hinge between the two displays that allows a smartphone to have a foldable design. Once completely folded, the displays will be inside, and no longer visible. On the other hand, the other foldable smartphone, which is expected to come after the dual-screen phone, is tipped to sport a panel that itself bends and will result in a device with a display on both front and back when completely folded. As it will feature a truly foldable display, the phone will understandably require a much-advanced hardware.

Notably, Samsung has already given us a glimpse of its 'in-foldable' smartphone that sports a foldable display panel inside the smartphone. Quoting an expert from the industry, the report said, "In-foldable Smartphone is seen as the first type of a foldable Smartphone. Out-foldable Smartphone is the next step of in-foldable Smartphone."

If the device hits the bullseye, then the company will go ahead and mass produces the phone. Apparently, the device would be manufactured in limited quantities since the company wants to test the market first. Also, the first flexible smartphone from Samsung is expected to launch sometime next year, claims ET news. A second smartphone, featuring a single flexible display panel could be introduced in 2018.

In the out-foldable smartphones, the panels work even at the point where it is bent, Etnews points out. Interestingly, Lenovo showcased its own flexible displays at its Tech World 2016 event earlier this year in June.

The smartphone industry is changing every day and it will change the way we see our smartphone and Samsung foldable smartphone is the start of that, anyways 2017 will be seeing lots of change in the smartphone market.
