This iPhone 8 feature will change the way you use your device
If you are also one of them who is waiting for the Apple upcoming flagship iPhone 8 or iPhone 10 as many people are calling, Apple’s next anniversary-edition smartphone.

Almost every day we are hearing about some new leaks on deign front or on the feature fronts. But along comes another leak that is referring to it as the 'iPhone X' that will come with major changes an iPhone user can relate to and see it worthy for a definite upgrade.

The new leak informs that firstly, the next iPhone will be coming in three different variants, as known from several leaks in the past as well. The information comes from research analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company. Citing Apple supply chain sources, he confirms there will be two regular variants of the phone 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch - and a 'high-end' variant having a "wraparound" display. Factory images earlier leaked in China with a codename 'Ferrari' talked about the same variant in the making.

Secondly, this high-end variant will have a 5.8 inch OLED display that will span the whole front of the smartphone. As much as we want the renders bringing out this imagination on the screen to come true, it is quite an impossible task, because there are various things you need to place at the front, including the irreplaceable set of sensors.

Thirdly and the most interesting one, the information claims Apple would add another sensor to this next iPhone one that can recognize users' face or facial gesture. Business insider quotes Timothy saying, "Other features appear to include some form of facial/gesture recognition supported by a new laser sensor and an infrared sensor mounted near the front-facing camera and, as expected, should also finally include wireless charging."

Never has a rumor talked about facial recognition, but that doesn't seem totally out of the bucket. Apple has been working on depth sensing in a bid to include Augmented Reality capabilities to counter Google Daydream and Tango projects. Hence, a bigger screen and a nearly wraparound display (that we can say).

Apple is known to replace the physical Touch ID fingerprint sensor with a virtual (or a transparent) one, placed under the screen to merge it with the active display area. Expected to launch in September as per the standard announcement dates (as per the past experience), the anniversary edition of the iPhone is the most anxiously anticipated phone and a lot of rumors have surfaced talking about the same.
