Xiaomi’s Mi 5C is going to be physical key free
As per the recent reports and leak image about Xiaomi's Mi 5C, the device is going to come with Pinecone chipset and not Snapdragon. A new leak suggests that the phone may come without any physical home button.





A leaker which goes by the name @strong machine has shared a leaked image on Chinese microblogging website Weibo.  The leaker claims that the shared image comes straight from the Foxconn factory.

As per the image reveals that the phone has no physical home button on the front. Also, the front camera is seen on the left while in other Xiaomi phones it is placed on the right.

Xiaomi Mi 5C received the certification at the China Quality Certification Centre earlier this month and this means that the phone could be announced latest by March. It is rumored that Mi 5c will have a smaller display with size less than 5.5 inches and will be a mid-range device. Mi 5C will run Pinecone chipset which is said to be made on the latest 10nm process which is used by the top-end Snapdragon 835.





Also, it is rumored that there will be two 'models' of the chipset -- the Pinecone 1 with an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and the Pinecone 2 with two quad-core processors (Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53) possibly in big. LITTLE configuration. Xiaomi Mi 5c is also expected to come with a 3GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.


Previously leaked images of Xiaomi Mi 5c suggest that the phone could look similar to its predecessor Mi 5 in terms of design. Just to recall, Xiaomi Mi 5 has a premium glass and metal design. The smartphone features a 5.15-inch FullHD display and runs Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 820 processor. It has a 16-megapixel camera on the rear with optical image stabilization and a 4-megapixel front camera. It is backed by 3,000mAh battery that supports quick charging.
