After the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is the latest smartphone running this new Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. The 10nm FinFET technology processor is 35 percent smaller and 25 percent more efficient than its predecessors
Xiaomi Mi 6 features a 5.15-inch display with Full HD resolution. The display in Xiaomi Mi 6 has 600 nits maximum brightness. The front-facing fingerprint sensor is embedded inside the display.

Xiaomi has introduced a four-sided 3D glass design for the Mi 6 Ceramic version of the phone. Xiaomi has added 18K gold rims on the rear camera of this version, and claim this ceramic body version is wear and tear ready as well.
In terms of camera, Xiaomi Mi 6 gets a 12MP wide-angle lens+12MP telephoto lens at the rear. There’s a new ‘Portrait Mode’ that blurs the background while focusing on the subject. The feature is similar to the one introduced on Apple iPhone 7 Plus. Other features of the camera are 2 x optical lossless zoom and 4-axis OIS.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is splash-resistant with its SIM tray protected against splashes as well. There are dual stereo speakers at the bottom. Apart from the blue color option, Mi 6 will also be available in the silver color variant. The smartphone ships with new 2×2 dual Wi-Fi technology claimed to increase connectivity and speed.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has a 3,350mAh battery which the company claims will easily last for up to a day with MIUI optimizations. It uses a Type-C USB port for charging.

Xiaomi has also done away with the headphone jack in this Mi 6, following Apple and LeEco. Xiaomi’s MIUI increases battery life by restricting apps from starting up, freezing background data from running and battery-saving mode claims the company. The company has not specified which version of Android is running on the Mi 6 smartphone.
