We've owned many an iPhone over the years and can legitimately say we never knew about this hidden trick until now. Prepare for your mind to be blown.

A twitter user, who goes by the name CENSORED dialogues, posted a video demonstrating the swipe functionality which has been in existence on iPhones since last five years but known by none.

Over the years, the app has remained much the same, but thanks to Jazz recently coming across an old Reddit thread, many have just learned about another basic feature.

After making his discovery, Jazz made a quick video showing that iPhone users can simply swipe left or right to correct a wrongly entered number – instead of starting over.

It seems the capability is not very well known, and many took to Twitter to share their surprise.

One user wrote: “After all those times I had to clear the entire thing.”
