As we always say Smartphone OEM play a color card to increase the sale of their flagship devices. We have seen it with companies like Apple, Samsung, Vivo, etc. and as per the recent tease from the OnePlus, it seems that they are next to this path.
Adding color to lineup attract more customer, resulting in high sales volume. If you recollect OnePlus 5 was launched last month in two color options viz Midnight Black and Slate Grey. And very soon the flagship smartphone could get bathed in a new color. OnePlus, through its official Weibo, twitter and Facebook handle, hints towards launching OnePlus 5 in a new hue.
The Chinese company has posted an image of OnePlus 5 in the already existing colors with a new colorless frame of the device with the caption: Who is coming? From this, we infer that the company is preparing to launch a new color option.

The OnePlus 5 looked very similar to the iPhone 7 series. People also accused them of copying the iPhone 7’s design. They think that OnePlus will again copy Apple and bring “Red” color on the OnePlus 5. If you go a little back in the time that you might recollect that OnePlus has asked their followers which color they want on their phone next? Giving four options in the picture.
As the picture also has an option of golden color we cannot simply the option of gold color being launched.

Specification of OnePlus 5
OnePlus 5 was unveiled globally on June 20. The smartphone made its way into India on June 22. It starts at Rs 32,999 for 6GB RAM+64GB ROM variant, and the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM option costs Rs 37,999. OnePlus 5 runs an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, clocked at up to 2.45GHz. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the home button.

OnePlus 5 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone supports two SIM cards. The highlight of OnePlus 5 is dual 16MP+20MP cameras at the back. The front camera is 16MP with selfie flash. The device is backed by a 3,300mAh battery, and it supports company’s Dash Charge technology.
