JioPhones started shipping expect your device to come any day before 19th Oct
It has been over two months when reliance has introduced the JioPhone to the world, creating a good buzz in the market. To recollect JioPhone is feature 4G VoLTE (only Jio) phones which comes with some of the great features.

Reliance Jio describes the JioPhone as the world's first smart feature phone. And rightly so. The JioPhone looks like a feature phone. That much was evident from the images of the phone. But now that the phone is out there in flesh and blood no, make it plastic and rubber and I have seen it, I can say that it looks like any generic feature phone. It has a T9 keyboard, like what used to be there on the old Nokia and Samsung phones 15 years ago and a smooth plastic body that you can still see on feature phones sold in the country.

Now after the pre-closer of booking, due to heavy demand. Reliance Jio Infocomm has dispatched the first batch of its 4G feature phones and plans to complete delivery of 6 million orders by Diwali.

The deliveries of Jio Phone will be completed in 15 days, said the channel partner, who did not wish to be named. On Twitter, Jio's official @LYF_In channel tweeted that the deliveries of the handset have commenced in a phased manner "to avoid inconvenience" and all customers who pre-booked Jio Phone will get their units by Diwali; this year, Diwali falls on October 19. As before, the company says customers will get SMSes regarding the status of their Jio Phone delivery date.

Pre-booking of the Reliance JioPhone started on 24 August against payment of a refundable deposit of Rs500. The remainder Rs1,000 has to be paid by the customer when the company starts delivering the handsets. The entire amount will be refunded against the return of the phone after three years.

According to CyberMedia Research, a total of 61.8 million mobiles were shipped in the second quarter of 2017. With 6 million units of sale, Reliance JioPhone is estimated to account for around 10% of India's total mobile phone market in a quarter.
