If you remember bezel less display has been introduced to the world by non-other than Xiaomi with Mi Mix last year. Now on 11th September Xiaomi is going to reveal the next version of Mi Mix. As of now, the device will be available in the home market, China.

Ahead of the unveiling, the company’s CEO recently confirmed that the phone has entered mass production. In addition, he also shared photos of the retail packaging of the device. We also saw a couple of alleged renders of the device yesterday. And today, a purported live photo of the Mi Mix 2 has been spotted on the Chinese social networking website Weibo.

In the recent image on surfaced on the Chinese social networking site, Weibo confirms the presence of a bezel-free display on the Mi Mix 2. The photo shows the front of the phone, revealing it’s almost bezel-less display in full glory.

If you find the difference in the image surfaced with the original Mi Mix, then you will find that the Mi Mix 2 will sport a toned down bottom bezel with the selfie camera. The phone is expected to sport an extreme 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Specifications of Mi Mix 2

As per the earlier reports, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will flaunt a 6.2-inch 2K display, and boot Android Oreo out of the box. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor, mated to up to 8GB of RAM. It is expected to come in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB. It is rumored to be powered by a massive 4,500mAh battery.
Some leaked images recently also suggested that the phone will come with a 3D facial recognition technology along with a fingerprint sensor. It is also rumored to sport a 20-megapixel camera at the rear.
