[Review] Micromax Canvas Infinity after 15 days
As we all know that smartphone world is changing the landscape, and the biggest changes that are coming on the design front is the design and camera setup change. We have seen many smartphones coming with the bezel-less design and best one is of course the iPhone X. One of the early adopter for bezel-less design is Micromax CanvasInfinity. Phone which is equally balanced from the design, specification and prices point of view.

If you own the device you will agree that first impression of device gives you satisfaction from the built quality and from factor point of view. I personally have the black version of the device which gives me great satisfaction while holding it in hand. Device is offering the 18:9 aspect ratio display which make it a stand out in race.

Today in this article I am going to share my opinion with Canvas Infinity after using it for 15 days. But before I move ahead let me clarify that this is not a paid review and opinion is based on my own experience with the device.

Design and Display

As I had expressed earlier, the phone looks premium and is capable of giving tough fight to some of the great devices in the market. What I feel the biggest competitor Canvas Infinity have is from the LG Q6, but from the design point of view device is much better than its competitor and defeats it with the good numbers. If you are planning for the device then you should get the black version of the device, as it gives more premium feel.

If we talk about the display, device is offering the 18:9 aspect ratio which produces great experience indoor, but I feel company should have consider a better outdoor experience as in day light it is tough to see the screen.

Nothing much to talk about, device is powered with 2900 mAh battery which is capable of handling the day activity. For me device battery lasted for 12 hours (with 80 Calls, continuous 4G data usage with regular WhatsApp and other monitoring tool and hours of gaming like Ludo and temple run.)

In the starting, phone use to get heated while charging but became normal with the passing days (I am also trying to figure out why this has happened?)

Camera Quality

On the camera front, the Canvas Infinity sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front that comes with its own dedicated bokeh selfie mode that automatically blurs the background for fancy portrait selfies.Overall camera quality and performance is quite good. As per my experience the camera quality did a decent job, considering the fact of price bracket in which it comes. But one thing I can assure you that camera of canvas infinity will not disappoint you. Image processing seems to be ok.

On the performance point, device is powered with Snapdragon 425 processor but some where I feel that device could have been better as it sometimes lags when 4-5 application is running in the background. On performance point of view I can say that overall experience is good as it is gives smooth experience.

If you have budget of 10K (INR) and you want to have the different experience from the design prospective then this phone is good option for you. I would not suggest this phone to people who loves gaming on the device. We at App Gyaan will give Micromax Canvas Infinity 8 out of 10, after 15 days of usage.
