CAMON i2X in depth review after 10 days of regular usage

Tecno has launched the CAMON i2X in India and today we are doing the CAMON i2X in-depth review. But before we move the standard review lets talk about the unique feature of the device. If you are WhatsApp addict then I must say this phone is built for you.

WhatsApp Mode on CAMON i2X

The company has introduced the WhatsApp mode on the device and you will be thinking what that mode is? To answer that, this mode helps you enable data only for the WhatsApp.  We have tried this feature and believe me it helps in reducing the battery usage drastically while you are traveling and also keep you connected with friends and family.

Other awesome feature that the company has introduced with the help of front flashlight for WhatsApp video call users is great. If you use WhatsApp video call then this feature is handy as it gives you the power to use the front flash and help you in doing the video call in dark.

I personally liked both the features of the device and wanted to share this with you all first.

CAMON i2X Design

If we talk about the look and feel of the device then I would say looks and design of the device is premium. Considering the fact, that the device is powered with 3,750 mAh battery it feels lighter in weight, I must say that TECNO does a great job in keeping the device lightweight. If you see Xiaomi phones in the same budget segment, you will feel it’s quite bulky. The notch of the device gives a feeling of iPhone X as a notch on the device is identical to the Apple device.

Back of the device is elegant, with mirror finish I would say the company has done a great job with that. The blue colour of device which I have looks amazing in hand. As a common problem with all the similar designed phone, it attracts lots of fingerprints.

Overall you can say that device design is awesome and, on the look, and the device gives you premium feeling.

CAMON i2X Performance

The device is powered with MediaTek’s MT6762 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and it provides some awesome performance. I personally not a big fan of MediaTek chipset but with the performance this phone gives is really remarkable and I feel I must change my mindset about the chipset.

As we always do while reviewing the device we have check the device from the users perspective and I personally feel it gives you an awesome experience overall.

While doing the test we found that the device performance is great and it handles the workload in great fashion. We have opened 10 Apps at the same time and tried to do multitasking and found that results were great.

CAMON i2X Battery

CAMON i2X is powered with 3750 mAh battery and I feel that is the most impressive thing about the device. I have been using the device with one SIM and regular usage and has given the great battery life.

Background battery consumption on the device is really low and the company has done a great job on that prospect.

CAMON i2X Camera

On the camera front, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor, combined with a 5-megapixel f/2.4 secondary sensor and quad LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with dedicated flash and f/2.0 aperture lens.

Keeping the specification aside I would say camera gives great results on the daylight and company could have done more work for the low light photography. The overall camera performed awesome in our test and gave us great results.

CAMON i2X is the great phone is the price bracket and you should go for it at any point, as it gives you a different feel from the regular phones from other Chinese vendors.
